As part of the Nigerian government’s initiative to increase its output of domestic gas supply, SPDC Nigeria has embarked on a massive natural gas gathering project. At present, the Agbada fields, located at OML 17 area for crude oil exploration, consist of Agbada 1 and Agbada 2 flow stations. The Agbada NAG/AG project is located within Agbada 2 flow station area which consists of an AGG (Associate Gas Gathering) plant for gas compression,
The project involves installation of 2 X 40mmscf/d trains GHF (gas holding facility) to process natural gas for local consumption.
Nivafer's scope of work in this project included the supply and fabrication of heavy support structures for gas pipelines and associated equipment.
